jaguars vs. saints
i know he didnt mean it. i did win the game and even if i didnt i would have suggested it anyways. he didnt use qb vision his first drive. after i told him he did remember and started using it. then i punted it and i pinned him on his 1 yard line. on that key possession on 3rd down he didnt use it to get a first down. win or lose i still would have suggested that a player get suspended. for how long i dont know, but there has to be repercussions. he said he was sorry on aim which i totally believe.

Not to intrude, but sometimes you just don't see the cone on the defensive side of the ball. If it was very blunt that he was running all over the place and just threw a wish, then I see what the problem is. At the same time, if he's sitting back there having to maneuver a cone from side to side, picking his target... it gets a little tough, especially with the two seconds you get with the jaxsonville defense, not including blitzers which i'm sure you had (being at the 1 yard line and eager for a safety). Also if you were playing as a cornerback or safety and he locked the cone onto a certain player, you'd obviously run over to that player and intercept the ball easy knowing full well he has to throw the forced ball or take a safety. So basically there was a double edged blade in the scenero. If a player were to be suspended for a certain amount of time, I suggest something small like half of game or even a quarter. A good player to bench would be some wide receiver, not the quarterback though.

i agree that you sometimes dont see qb vision, but if you see it once in a that game you should see it all the time. he also did acknowledge he didnt use it. i dont agree with you on the double edged sword. just because of that scenario a player doesnt have to use qb vision? shouldnt i get rewarded for a coffin corner which i punted on 4th and inches from my 45. the suspension should be small. el patron, this is not a knock on you. please believe me. whats the point of rules if there are no consequences?

well, if he admitted it, then he admitted it. The End so I'd have to agree with magnum on this
I just didn't want an innocent person to get suspended without a fair argument because that's never fun.

I will check it out with owner. Suspension for this offense would be for 1/2 game next week. Magnum's complaint will be honored for now as he is a veteran and I trust he is not lying here.
Check suspensions for now.

I'm having a horrible problem with the owner of the Saints. We were playing our week 11 game and so we started off. I began the game with a run and 2 incomplete passes. He then got the ball and picked from a vast number of 3 plays. One of them had 3 tight ends and 1 half back with 1 wr. He would either bomb the ball to the wr or run to the side with the two tight ends. So I get the ball back and when he always played as the safety on the top of his defense. It was a nickle, but I guess at the same time it looked kind of like a 46 with the safety sitting at the top of the screen. I would try to throw the ball to Reggie Wayne or Marvin Harrison and he would change his player to make sure that the ball would be knocked down or one of those wr's would be tackled. After gaining a score of 17-7 Saints, he then started to play 5 wr's in the middle of the 2nd quarter, is this sim? Is changing playing Sim? I don't think so. So after the first half, after kickoff, I walked upstairs to my computer and talked to him about his play. He then said "dont b madd and cry wolf wen ur losing". So after I asked him politely to play like a Sim. So we started playing the 3rd quarter and I got a touchdown with a throw from Peyton Manning to Brandon Stokley. On that extra point try my kicker was hit and the flag was thrown. I then accepted the penalty which basically made my next kick a touchback no matter what. So I kicked a touchback and he got the ball at the 20. He then drove down the field to my 45 yard line and couldn't convert a 3rd and 10 play. On that 4th and 10 play he ran a fake and tried to run (which is sim). He didn't make it so I got the ball. As soon as I got the ball he disconnected the game and sent me messages on AIM saying "very sim" "accepting the penalty" "wtf". I then said "In football, they accept penalty's". I have the stats from the game which it ended with my posession of the ball in the middle of the 3rd quarter with a scrore of 24-14. I would love to play the rest of my game, and at the time I did have a lot of momentum on my side since the posession before that on I picked off the ball and that's when I got the touchdown to Stokley, but I would like something done about this situation first. He was the one to disconnect the game and antagonize me during the game. I don't feel this owner is the kind of person we should have in this league, but that's my opinion. So please commish, please look into this situation.

haha, so obviously tensions are high in this league. I have my situation in the NFC south division and the AFC south division has their situation. Despite everything that happened here, I see the fact that the Saints quit to be huge. You Do Not Quit A Game In This League. Now these two have to get back on the game to play another half of football instead of just finishing right then and there. Did Soil even take down the stats? The other thing I don't like are the quotes from the Saints owner. You don't say to the opponant "don't b madd and cry wolf wen ur losing". First off that looks like horrible english, and at the same time it's very disrespectful to your opponent. Aren't we a community? A respected community on top of that. I've read a few things from Drez and Korrosive both saying that this community is about respect, pure and utter respect. The Colts and the Saints owners, just be aware that this is a community about respect while playing and while communacating with one another.

ok 1st of all i sent the message saying very sim after u accepted the roughing the kicker penalty. then i wrote wtf after the game disconnected because i didnt on my screen it sed the connection 2 ur oppenent has been lost. y would i d/c the game if i was up 10 points and ive been stopping u all game? and every1 i play switches to the other defender to knock down a pass u even did it and magnum did it to. i didnt see ne thing in the rule book forbidding u to play defense. he sed that i ran 5 wr sets all game which is bs because i ran most the game unless it was 3rd and long. on one of my drives he punted it and i recieved the ball around my own 40 yrd line and i did use 5 wr set to try and cap off the end of the 1st half i ended up getting a feild goal out of it he recieved the ball after the successful fg and did hail mary and through it to harrison or wayne and tried 2 catch the ball him self. thats wen the 3rd qrt started so i pressed resume online game thinkin he was ready and he aim me by the time he did that the game already started and i was unable 2 press pause so the comp. kicked it out of bounds no penalty screen came up they automaticly give u the penalty if it was kicked out of bounds. jus like false start u cannot choose. he ran out of 4 wr set all game with the occasional 3 wr. every time he ran out of 4 wr i knew it was gonna b a crossing route rite in the middle of the feild because he did it all game and thats wat his scounting report sed. thats y i played nickle 1-5-5 because it leaves the free saftey rite in the middle of the feild and the strong saftey watches short while the cb have the wr the line up with. i c nothing wrong with anticipating and knowing wat ur opp. is gonna do. he should mix up his plays if his scounting report says he loves the middle then he should do the opposite and go outside. like my scouting report says i screen it to colston so wat i did was screen it once in a while and use quick devoloping. as for my offense i did I normal, strong I, I normal twin te, i also did 3 te 1 hb with 2 te on the rite and the other on the left, i also did 2 te 1 hb 2 wr with 2 te on the rite side of the formation, also 2 te 1 hb 2 wr with a te on each side. and i use new englands play book which has 2 different 5 wr sets and multiple shotgun formations i used 4 wr and 1 hb. i think its messed up how he can beat up on kdogg by passing but he gets madd cuz im beating him on the ground and im shuting down his passing game. seems like every one that is getting beat complains because they know that they can get theyre opp. in trouble. this needs to come 2 an end because i c this happening more and more every week. as for the jacksonville game i didnt use the qb vision a few plays at the begining of the game because u get used to not using it in lobby games and i jus forgot to put it on. after he reminded me to use it i did use every play after that. the play that u pinned me on my own 3 i picked a small out pattern which i threw it in like 2 secs after i got the snap because it was wide open due 2 u blitzing the corners. wen the play jus barely begings the cone is tiny and can barely b seen espcailly if i get rid or it as soon as i take the snap. he controled the saftey and moved him over to the right and played as a cb but 10-15 away from the wr. sorry for reading the coverage and getting it out of my endzone. but thats wat good qbs do.

First of all, wasn't I was the one who tried to defend you when talking to Magnum earlier? As for soil, he did refer me, but that's only because we played a few games online together and he felt I'd be great in this league. I love playing straight and fun games with polite and respectful people. During my few weeks here I played 3 games. One against Korrosive, one against Drez, and the other against the Seahawks owner. These specific owners are all very respectful in the league. I had a good time talking to them before and after the game. In this situation I see a lack of respect, not only towards Soil, but towards me as well.
I would like to just add one thing since this is my last post on this topic: Talk to Soil and talk to the Saints. Ask them both who has the stats. If the game ended in a complete disconnection, none of them would. If the Saints quit the game, Soil would only have the stats. I'm pretty sure quitting is the biggest flaw of this situation, So just talk to them and see what they have to say.

This forum is not a discussion forum, so any owners not directly associated with the issue, while I can appreciate your interest to comment, I will ask that you do not at least in this section.
Both owners in this situation have had suspensions in the past by breaking rules or unsim play.
I need to think hard and long about what has occurred here. I will read both of your posts as honest posts from a factual standpoint and make a decision. Given it is a 2nd offense for both owners, I will be considering league expulsion if I hear another complaint about either owner.
I will state here clearly, if an opponent breaks the rules, or is playing unsim, you are not to play unsim or break the rules. If the rules being broked are a major infraction, meaning it is affecting the outcome of the game, contact a Commish immediately during the game.
Running any nickel or dime formation when the opponent is running 3WR or 4WR sets is absoltely acceptable, playing defense and knocking down balls or intercepting is acceptable, moving the corners or safeties pre snap to get into position pre snap is acceptbale so long as you are not blitzing, knocking a receiver off his pattern on defense is unsim (as computer oftern does not call PI there).
If a player wants to pass the whole game and does not run the same formations and plays, it is allowed, it is the same as a strong running attack who runs it 30-35 times a game.
Accepting a roughing the kicker is a clear violation of league rules. A player disconnecting from a game is not a violation of league rules as it happens from time to time. This is a judgement call and unfortunately, I cannot be there to see if he disconn'd on purpose. The rules state treatment for disconns.
The only violation I see here on the Saints is perhaps Saints owner calling same plays in 1st quarter then going to a wide open offense, but it's really hard to make a call here. I will ask other opponents he has played to see if this has been the case before handing out a susension.
The acceptance of the roughing the kicker is a blatant rule violation, black and white.
The 2nd half needs to be played in full with the score are the end of the 1st half staying as it was carrying over from previous game.
The personal attacks need to stop, the next personal attack on these boards will be a no question expulsion without appeal.

yes switching to the defender when ball is in air is sim so long as you are not bumping the receiver off course as the PI calls in Madden are not called all the times.
Some of the best players take control of the DBs and pick balls off themselves. I think it takes players to another level of play.
